Alexander Vik
Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
Since March 1989, Vik has served as chief executive officer of Xcelera Inc.
Vik is the chief executive officer of Mirror Image Internet Inc. and serves
of
the boards of numerous other companies. From February 1989 to May 1997,
Mr. Vik served as chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Vik
Brothers Insurance Inc., an insurance holding
company. Vik holds an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University.
Gustav Vik
Director, Secretary and Treasurer
Gustav Vik has served as treasurer, secretary and director
of Xcelera Inc. since March 1989. Vik is the chief executive
officer of Ineo Inc. and also serves as the director of Mirror
Image Internet Inc. and other companies.
From September 1986 to April 1997, Vik was the president and chief operating
officer of Vik Brothers Insurance Group. Vik attended the University of Stockholm
from 1978 to 1981.
Alexander Vik and Gustav Vik are brothers.
Jack Kugler
Director, Executive Vice President
Kugler has served as Executive Vice President of Xcelera Inc.,
responsible for managing financial operations and investor
relations since October 2000. He has
served as a Director of Xcelera Inc. since November 2000. Kugler also serves
as a Director of Mirror Image Internet Inc. Prior to joining Xcelera, Kugler
was most recently Executive Vice President of the Government Securities
Department at Daiwa Securities America Inc. since 1992. From
1984 to 1992, he was Executive
Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors at Drexel Burnham
Lambert Inc. and Chairman of Drexel Burnham Lambert Government
Securities Inc. From
1977 to 1984, Kugler was Chairman of the government securities
division at Merrill
Lynch. He was also a General Partner in Fixed Income at Salomon Brothers
for 20 years beginning in 1957. Kugler attended the Baruch
School of Business of
the City College of New York. He received an Honorary Doctorate of Business
Administration degree from Hawthorne College of Antrim, N.H.,
in 1980 and is a member of the
Washington Quarterly Roundtable of the Center for Strategic and International
Studies of Washington, D.C.
Hans Erik Olav
Director
Since November 2000, Olav has served as a Director of Xcelera
Inc. Olav is Chairman & CEO
of Juno Finans AS, a European investment company. Olav is also a Director of
Wide Computing, Agentus AS, and Ceetron AS. Olav holds a MBA from University
of Miami and a BBA from University of Georgia.
